I bought a beautiful LIGHT MAUVE (super pale pink/purple color almost Easter like) crochet halter bikini top. Light mauve is the main color of the top & strings. The top is filled with these pale pastel colors. There is a blend of a light turquoise, some brown, pale yellow, white , and carnation pink in the crochet stiching of the top. The only warm colors in it are the brown and carnation pink but it’s mostly light mauve. I don’t know what color bottoms to get. They were sold out of the bottoms at the store. Any suggestions?
I think turquoise would look nice, or brown.
How to get old clothes brilliant white again?
Hi. I have a white crochet bikini and some white shorts that are stained (and very dirty-looking) by both suncream and iodine (from the water supply of a cruise ship!) I’ve tried vanish stain remover on them, to no avail, and have also washed them on a boil wash at 90 – again no results. Daz doesn’t work lol! I was wondering if anyone had any other tips on how to get them white again. If I bleach them, would this work and if so, how would I do it? I’m giving it one last shot before I go out and buy new white clothes! Thanks, Bec x
