im not fat, i still have ALOT of muscle left from my karate days (i quit 3 years after i got my black belt in tae kwon do). I just have a little layer of fat around my stomach. I also have lovehandles, and inner thighs (but not too much). Other than that, i have a small frame.
I have a membership at LA fitness, and ive been going 2 days a week for the past 2 months, but im deciding to make it 5 days a week. and NO junk food (ill worry about the outcome of me not eating junk food later). I just need to be bikini ready for my friend’s swim party at the end of may, and i want to look good in my dress for graduation.
I do 30 minutes of the machines and weights, and then 30 minutes of cardio/running.
Im just looking for extra support, or tips.
do you think my plan will work?

You know how to sweat. Sweat burns off fat, strength training and cardio will tighten and keep you in shape. You need to keep up the nutrition fitness balance. Keep eating small portions during the day.

Is it wrong that Im angry that we’re so broke I won’t be getting lots of presents for my birthday?
It’ll be my 18th birthday on the 13th and we’re so broke that I won’t be getting lots of presents. I put a list together of 5 things that I would like, things I thought would be rather inexpensive. New mascara, yellow nail polish, bikini, a new hoodie, and a new belt. My mom was like “Well, maybe…we’re really broke right now and I don’t know.”
So am I a bad person, or at least a little in the right?
if your parents are broke, then what do you expect? Would you rather have presents or a roof over your head and food?
I understand that you are upset but you also need to realize the severity of it all.
