I’m 5’4”, 117 lbs, and my friends tell me I have a good body, despite me being a nerd. But I also promised my friends that I would do something I haven’t done in my 17 years of living… actually go swimming. I’m terrified of it, and they don’t know that. They do know I don’t know how to swim, but they don’t know I’m terrified of showing off skin. I dress modestly and never worn a swimsuit before in my entire life.

Does it look too weird? I’m thinking about the black style since I’m so pale.
I’m so afraid of a suit malfunction, or showing off something, or a suit being see-through, or it coming off. This one looks to be the best one I’ve found so far. Does it need to fit tight? Also, if there is a better one piece out there that would be good for me, could you find one? It would probably have to look close to the one I provided a link to, unless that is too weird…
You aren’t going to want to wear a water polo suit. Speedo has a lot of nice one pieces for competitive swimming but they’ll be fine for just normal swimming too.
